Roxanne earned her bachelor’s of science degree from Kansas State University in 2003 and a Master’s of Science degree in counseling psychology from the University of Kansas in 2006. Roxanne performed her internship at Marillac Children and Adolescent Mental Health Hospital, working in the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. She later earned a postmaster’s certificate in play therapy from Mid America Nazarene University in 2009.

Roxanne works with children, adolescents, and families to create an emotionally safe therapeutic relationship for healing to occur. She specializes in areas of anxiety, anger, abuse, trauma, divorce, depression, self-harming, identity development and behavioral issues. Roxanne sees parents and guardians as an important part of each child or adolescent’s treatment and works to develop a collaborative relationship with them in order to benefit the child, adolescent, and ultimately, the entire family.
