Adrienne Tietz, a therapist at Lifeline, graduated from UMKC with a master’s degree in social work and is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in KS. Adrienne has 15+ years of experience in human services including education, family support, crises intervention, and counseling. As a therapist, she is warm, empathetic, occasionally humorous, and a creative thinker.

Adrienne has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy, Life Model Works, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Sandtray Therapy, Theraplay, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She has specialized training in trauma work and is also a trained Gottman Educator. She currently works with a range of ages including children, teens, and adults. She works with a variety of issues including grief/loss, depression, anxiety, family conflicts, life changes and stressors, spirituality, PTSD, and trauma.

Besides counseling, Adrienne loves the outdoors, adventures, traveling, reading/learning, music, and time with family and friends.

For payment of services, Adrienne accepts cash/check, debit/credit, HSA, and the following insurances: Ambetter, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, KS Medicaid (Optum, Sunflower, of Aetna) United. If your insurance is not listed, Adrienne can provide a superbill for services, which some insurances will partially or fully reimburse.
