After over 40 years of professional experience, I have found for many people coming for counseling for the first time, that it is important to recognize people come in, often afraid of what the experience might be like.  My hope is that I can ease people’s anxiety, provide important insights and help people move forward to meet their goals.

I have worked in both the mental health field and substance abuse field in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  I provide individual, family, and couples counseling, for teenagers, adults and seniors.  When medication may be helpful, I will refer on to a psychiatrist who can prescribe medication. 

I am located in Olathe and Topeka, Kansas.  I will try to work with you concerning an appointment time and day that will work with your schedule including some evenings and weekends.
